Our crazy lives..

I figured that this picture was appropriate since my last post talked about how Briley's 1st Birthday was coming up. I blew it... her birthday CAME..and WENT!! and now she is almost 18 months old!

Her birthday ended up being a success! I made her a ladybug cake that she LOVED!! We had her party at Tim's dads house since it was a very nice day. We had some lunch, cake and ice cream and watch Briley 'not' open presents. She did not get the gist of it, so it ended up being OK that all of her cousins pretty much opened them for her.

It is now march and since my last post a lot has happened. We remodeled our basement bathroom, which i love and we got a new dog, which Briley loves, and me? not so much. He is part boxer part mastiff, and a very loving puppy.

Summer could not get here fast enough.. We are all so tired of the snow and cold weather! I just want to be able to play outside with Briley already! Hopefully soon! I am crossing my fingers! :]

What a way to end the month..

So the reunion that was this past weekend was a success, even though the weather didnt really permit us to do as much boating as we hoped for, but we all still had a blast! We all played phase 10, rode dirt bikes, 4wheeler, the razor and some of the kids just played in the mud. When we rented the cabin, i was told there were 8 bedrooms and 2.5 bath. When we got there we realized there were only 4 bedrooms that were finished lol. The basement hadnt been completely finished, missing doors and carpet. Fortunately we fit all 14 adults and all 28 kids just fine :] All in all, i was satisfied!!

This coming Monday, we are leaving for Lake Powell with Nathan and Angi and their family! We are totally stoked, It will be a long drive, but believe me, its totally worth it! We absolutely cant wait!

whats goin on....

... so as you all know, and for all of those who don't, i am currently doing daycare out of my home, and LOVING it, even though my schedule is really hectic! I love it because it allows me to stay home with Briley and gives me the chance to help out with bills! Especially since Briley's birthday is coming up, and fast i might add! But fortunately it does still give me the chance to go do things on the weekend without getting tied up! This past weekend we went up to Black tail with Tim's sister Amber, to go boating! WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE GOING BOATING!! Wake boarding is a passion of Tim's, and is becoming one of mine! Hopefully one day soon we will be fortunate to get our own boat, so we can go whenever we want :] Tim is so so good at wake boarding, he amazes me every time! I hope that our children find the same passion it it as well. We had so much fun with Amber and her family, Tim's dad and fiance Kathy were able to come up to join us, as well as our cousin Jared and his wife Teresa! It was a BLAST! Nick and Amber just recently bought some stand-up jet skis, that look like a ton of fun!!

This has been such a busy busy week, with Tim's grandpa Joe dieing in a car crash, and my cousin Brandi dieing, we've had a two funerals in 3 days. Then with the Lott family reunion this weekend, which is our year to plan, we been scatter brained trying to get everything ready! We decided to use my cousin Jeff's cabin up in island park, which is on the reservoir [which only means BOATING for 4 days!] for the reunion. Its stinkin nice and im totally stoked! We are leaving tomorrow as soon as Tim gets off work! Its been crazy and hectic but i know it will be totally worth it!

Finally an update

... so i get it, i am so horrible about this, i make this blog and post once when briley was 5 months and how i cannot believe how big shes getting, and how before i know it she'll be 1! well,.. SHE IS LITERALLY ALMOST 1!.. She has changed so so much and her personality is really starting to come out, she makes me laugh so much! She getting so big and getting into EVERYTHING from the dog food to the garbage can! O boy she has such an appetite! We have not been able to find ONE thing that she does not like, and i have never seen her get full enough to stop eating! At least i know that she is healthy! But really her birthday is next month and i cannot believe fast its gone, i miss when she was just teeny tiny! But i look forward so much to see how she will blossom :] The past couple of months have been a huge blur for Tim and i, although not a lot happened we had our 1yr. anniversary and spent it by going to dinner. We have just recently finished our Temple prep class and are planning to be sealed as soon as we are able to. We've learned a lot, and hope to learn more. We'd like to thank everyone for their support in everything we've done. We've come along way, yet still have a ways to go and couldn't do any of it, if it wasn't for our friends and family!
